In Apartment 7A, there are some devilish goings-on in the Bramford building. Director Natalie Erika James had a clear vision for her horror set in New York City, including the malevolent beings that might reside in it. Our design studio helped realise this by imagining a dastardly, decaying Satan to bring this evil incarnate to life. But what would Satan look like if he was covered in diamantés? The film is a trip into the ghoulish human psyche and the underbelly of Broadway (hence the sparkles). Sparkly Satan was concepted as reference for our Manufacture team to then build into a full body suit. The final physical costume is covered in over 400,000 rhinestones and glass beads.
