Altered Carbon - Shock Trooper Rifles

Working closely with showrunners Miguel Sapochnik and Laeta Kalogridis, we developed two rifle designs for the Shock Troopers, a modified AK-47 and a railgun. The modified AK is used in the show's flashback sequences. It features an updated barrel which increases the bullet's velocity using a magnetic rail.
The railgun used by the Protectorate builds on the technology used in the AK and streamlines it into a single unit, with additional stack-interfacing optics.
