Inter-planetary Police

Occasionally, our artists are presented with internal creative challenges, which enables our studio to expand our repertoire of techniques and refine our skills. These challenges also provide us with the opportunity to design for properties that we have long desired to explore.
The following design is an exploration into the near-future world of interplanetary law enforcement.

The Orbital-class Patroller runs on kerosene and liquid oxygen and weighs 85 tonnes. Its 36 metre body houses twin turbo engines to deliver a combined 3 million pounds of thrust, easily outrunning any offender in pursuit. The ship’s angular surfaces and radar-absorbent cladding make the vehicle virtually undetectable to other spacecraft. On board, the Patroller is armed with a laser weapons system, a sensor array, and a grappling system for wrangling criminals.

Everything about the ship’s design is intended to intimidate and command a sense of authority.
